Apartment
Life
& Trends
|
|
You have heard all the reasons why people
should buy their residence vs. renting an
apartment. So, are you ready to
hear why your decision to rent the
apartment where you are living now was a
good idea? How about:
-
Lower Utility Costs -
While all your
friends and family are trying to figure
out how to pay their summer electric
bills - you can enjoy your home and
nice community features
-
Smaller upfront move in
costs - If you have ever
considered buying a home, you probably
have been told to prepare for healthy
move in costs of at least 10% down!
-
When you lease has
expired - move!
You don't have to worry
about selling your home or worse yet -
having to lease it only to inherit
Landlord woes!
-
Little or no maintenance
costs - Today,
most apartment units offer beautifully
landscaped grounds, recreational
facilities and media rooms - all of
which they maintain.
-
No loss of equity in a
down market - sure owning
a home can be a financial shot in the
arm - but what about in a down economy
- right when you are going to sell?
Rising interest rates or property
values.
-
Lower Insurance Costs -
All you need to worry about is renters
insurance to protect your family and
belongings - not the contractor who
falls and hurts themselves;
neighborhood children or natural
disasters.
